Hey, i was having the same issue with the server. sometimes worked after restarting my iMac server but it stopes working again. i tried your idea, works like magic now.

Same here, client version: 5.9.2, platform version: 5.2.0, not working in the early version or the old version!!!
The problem seems to be if you are logged in with an account and want also the manual server!
When I logout the server gets recognised automaticaly, I guess we need a new version for oled webos, is there something new on the way?
edit: I bought an nvidia shield pro hoping that I can login to my remote account and have the ability to have the local library aswel, but it seems it doesn’t work there either! I had to do the remote account in plex app and the local in kodi via plex plugin there, I would love to t´have this in one official app.
Ok, with the new client version 5.10.0 it works 
very happy now, thanks, if only we would have the same for nvidia shield pro.
