LG webOS Plex 5.94.1 – Memory leak causing audio dropouts (OLED65C8)

Plex App Version: 5.94.1

Issue:
Since updating to 5.94.1, the Plex app appears to have a memory leak. During playback, memory usage increases over time until audio begins dropping out intermittently (20–30 seconds at a time). The issue worsens the longer playback continues.

The only way to restore normal operation is to fully power cycle the TV (unplug), which clears memory.

Important:

  • This issue did NOT exist prior to 5.94.1 (used Plex on this TV since 2019 without problems)
  • Changing playback settings (Direct Play, Direct Stream, transcoding) has no effect
  • Same files play perfectly on Roku Express 4K+ using Plex (no audio dropouts)

Conclusion:
This appears to be a client-side memory leak introduced in 5.94.1 on LG webOS.

Please advise if this is a known issue or if logs are needed.
