I´m running latest version og Plex-server on a 2018 Mac Mini. I’m having problems with the library disappearing on playback devices (both Shield TV, Samsung TV and on Apple TV).
What happens is I see the podcasts and free movies that are available on Plex from my playback device (Shield, Samsung TV or Apple TV), but my own libraries are not available. I can see them on the left hand side on the screen, but they are all empty.
If I run av VNC connection from my iPhone to the Mac Mini, all my files show up on the screen within a few seconds and I can watch a movie.
When the movie ends or I stop playback I see al my files as normal. But playback is not possible (you can select the file but it won’t load). If I start VNC on my phone again, the playback starts.
I dont understand what is wrong. Ive been using Plex for a long time, but this error is new.
The server and playback devices are on a cabled network going through an Airport Timecapsule. I get the same error on wifi.
Anyone know what I can try to fix the problem?
