Library Problem

For some reason when I try to add a folder of mp4 videos only two of the 10 show up! Then when I try to re upload the folder to the server, LITERALLY NOTHING SHOWS UP! I don’t know why or how this is happening but can someone please help me with this

Many times the failure for media to appear in Plex comes down to naming and organization. You may wish to review the Plex documentation.

Let’s fill in some details.

  1. Which specific version of Plex Media Server?
    Look in your list of Authorized Devices or Settings → Server_Name → General.
    Note: 4.x is not the correct version. That is the version of the web interface.

  2. What type of Plex Library are you using - Movie, TV Show, Other Video, etc?

  3. What are the mp4 videos - Movies, TV Shows, Personal Movies, etc?
    With Plex, you have to keep the media types separated. You cannot mix them in the same Library.

  4. Please show a screenshot, directory listing, etc of how you have the shows organized and named. Please indicate which folder you added to the Plex library.
