My Plex app on appletv simply will not show my library on the home screen. It’s still there when I click the “more” tab on the home screen but I can’t get it to pin to the home screen at all. I’m at a loss
Same problem here. Server screen shows all the correct libraries (all nine of them), The home screen doesn’t show any of them except for a couple of ‘continue watching’ etc.
Not sure if you still have this problem. But the solution for me was updating my Plex media server. For some reason it hadn’t been updating for ages and had stopped working with the front end appletv app. I deleted and reinstalled the latest media server on my Mac mini and the problem was solved

That should do the job.
Make sure your server is up-to-date (latest public release is version 1.19.3 – just some days ago). You might need to reboot the server after the update for the Apple TV to pick the content of those libraries up again.
The solution for me was the exact opposite. I downgraded to version 1.18.7.2457, the version that was functioning well before the latest update to version 1.19.3.2831
in that case you might have had a different issue to begin with
