The names for all solo artist in mine collection are build on last name, first name.
I have also included this in the metadata of the files.
however, some names are still converted to first name, last name after scanning the library

What can I do to prevent this.

Settings - Server - Agents - Albums - last.fm
Pull the line ‘Local Media Assets’ to the top position of the list
Repeat the same under
Settings - Server - Agents - Artists - last.fm

Edit your library
go to the ‘Advanced’ tab
tick the checkbox ‘Use embedded metatags’

Perform the full Plex Dance with all albums of an affected artist.

See how that goes.
