I think this might have been asked for before, but here I go.
Collections are great. Especially the ability to show both Movie and TV Shows in collections (e.g., Star Trek with movies and shows). Trick is to name the collections the same in Movies and TV Shows. However, does not work for Smart collections.
Suggestion: Each Collection (Smart and ‘Dumb’) can include other Libraries … For example, as you add a collection to Movies, allow for selecting other libraries. Collection would show in each Library, and show all items from the other libraries.
As a user, I want to be able to have Smart Collections link up with Dumb Collections.
It has been… there’s already an existing suggestion discussing this behavior. I suggest you comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes. Unless I’m missing some unique aspect of your suggestion I’ll close this thread as a duplicate.
