If I have several normal collections with the same name in different libraries, I will see all the items from if I go into the collection. Let’s say I have a Marvel collection for both movies and TV shows. I go into the collection through the Movie library and I will see all the movies in the Marvel collection, followed by all TV shows in the Marvel collection. Amazing! This however, does not work the same way with smart collections, instead I only see the items from the current library. This is a shame, since it’s a great feature. Please make it work the same way as normal collections
This feature would be such a welcome upgrade. At first I just managed most my collections so they’d merge (still do with collections like The Beatles, Monty Python, or DC Comic movie/tv) but my library is getting too big to do it myself for things like decade collections or genre collections (I do genre collections to merge tv and movies) so I’ve got way more smart collections than before and now the common ones aren’t merging. It’s not a big deal but it’s such a great feature with manual collections.
When revisiting your suggestion I noticed this is actually working – however (sadly) only from the perspective of the smart collection.
Example:
My smart collection for the Marvel Cinematic Universe sees the same-named regular collection of Marvel One Shots in a different library. When opening the regular one-shot collection, this one will however not see the related same-named smart collection
As a point of reference
I take it you want the same-named collection to be linked both ways?

Collections from multiple Libraries with same name provide a merged view, however Smart Collections are not picked.
Smart Collections with same name do not provide a merged view, however a Standard Collection with same name will be shown when viewing the Smart counterpart, but when viewing the Standard Collection, the Smart one won’t be shown.
Any indication on when this will be fixed to work like normal collections?

When viewing movie details, PMS/client will display a single collection in which the title resides.
I would like to see all collections in which it resides, as well as including Smart Collections in that display. Currently, Smart Collections do not display at all under movie details.
