Live DVR with HDHomeRun Connect unable to scan channels

Hello-

I bought a HDHomeRun Connect a couple of weeks ago. I bought a lifetime Plex Pass and it worked well. I have a Linux server. I then did two things at the same time- I upgraded to the July 5 (Plex Pass only) PMS 1.7.6 and I put in a separate hard drive into my linux server just for my TV recordings. In order to change the path where my recorded shows go, I deleted the HDHomeRun Connect’s “DVR Setup” entry and added a new one. Now unfortunately when I go through the DVR Setup wizard, it can’t scan channels on the unit.

Using the Silicon Dust Windows Store App “HDHomeRun” it displays the channels just fine- so the unit is working.

Might anyone know what to do? Thanks!

Just to be clear, Plex sees the unit, when I get to the scanning channels page, it can’t find any.

I had been restarting the plexmediaserver service on my Linux box. A complete restart of the Linux box cleared up the issue. I had a 6 month uptime going!
