The Channel guide has disappeared right after I installed the QNAP MEDIA SERVER update today - it seems to be working on a roku device

Same Problem here on my Nvida Shield TV, When you select channel guide, no channels appear.
Same problem on Nvidia Shield TV PLEX Server/Player. Dallas/Ft Worth, TX USA CDT Zip 75002. When selecting channel guide from Shield PLEX, no channels appear. However, when selecting Shield channel guide via PC Web TV access AOK.

I had the same problem on my Shield. I was using UNO beta as the UI. For me, I was able to find a workaround: once I reverted back to the old UI, and re-enabled UNO, my LIVE TV Grid came back.
This started happening to me when I had to re-setup my DVR after the EPG changes. I had to delete my DVR and set it up again, which then made it disappear on the Shield.

I have the same problem in Toledo, OH 43615, same issue even after deleting and re-setting up.
Oh Joy. Finally got the EPG Grid GUI back.
It is a very simple GUI. No Channels, Today, or All Channels pull down menus.
Now noticed that Recordings contents on Live TV & DVR presentation are missing entries for July 3, 4,and 5th. Have not yet completed evaluation; more after the weekend.
Got PLEX for Android TV version 7.18.0.11113 from Aptoide TV. Could not get it from Google Play even as a Beta Tester. Why?
Had to Cold Start Nvidia Shield by pulling power connection. Restart from Settings did not bring out Guide content on Live TV & DVR presentation.

More testing of NVIDIA Shield PLEX Live TV and DVR found play of Live TV unstable until Cache reset on PLEX Server and PLEX Player followed by reset of NVIDIA Shield from settings menu.
EPG nor Scheduled Recording no longer accessed on NVIDIA Shield Media Player presentation; just a spinning wheel. Suspect some auto sfw update happened which broke what had been working.
Only good news is now TCL ROKU Smart TV, Windows, Kindle HD Fire, and Samsung Phone PLEX Media Players can now access NVIDIA Shield Server and present EPG and Scheduled Recording. This was not possible when the NVIDIA Shield Media Player could present the EPG and Scheduled Recording.
Maybe the TCL ROKU Smart TV PLEX Media Player worked with the Shield Server when the Shield Player did work with the Shield Server. Can not be sure. Too many moving parts to keep track.
Stopping testing for a week until this mess is sorted-out. Hope notifications will be given when non-Beta sfw is released for NVIDIA Shield PLEX which corrects these EPG associated problems. Until then will use other PLEX Media Payers to search and schedule TV recordings.
That appears to work OK after limited evaluation.
