I had to do a factory reset on my NVIDIA TV recently to fix the bug in the latest Plex release. All seemed to work except now I do not see the option under setting to setup my live TV any more. I do have a Plex Pass and I was using it before I had to do a factory reset.
What version of Plex Media Server is currently installed?
Factory reset restored version of PMS shipped with Shield which is pre DVR & Live TV. You need to sign in to your google play store account and install the latest Plex Server.

got it thanks had to go into my apps and update it there.

I have updated as stated but still no live tv/dvr option. I had it before the restart and havent seen it since. I am currently version 1.13.0.5023
Mine is gone from both my nvidia shields also. I think they may have messed up this update.

Yeah, I don’t have the Live TV & DVR option on any of my devices (Web browser, Roku Ultra, Android, iPad, etc.). In the server, I have to rescan/reinstall my tuner but it NEVER saves anything. When I go back to the settings in the server, it just wants me to redo my tuner scan again.
What server do you run? I’m running a server on Freenas and there seems to be a larger problem on mine. It has stopped getting images from the tv database. I also had an update to Freenas at the same time so there are a lot of variables to check.
