Live TV not accessible for me. Where to look?

I have Nvidia shield set up to automatically update. The latest server announcement on the shield showed version with Live TV support and I proceeded to allow it to install. It updated successfully. I have iphone 6 and ipad air with latest OS and checked both to make sure they have latest plex player. I am unable to access DVR or live TV from either IOS or Android app on the shield. I access DVR without any issues from a Mac plex app. It seems something is misconfigured or not up to date. Any tips or pointers would be appreciated.

You need Plex Server 1.7.2 and the latest Plex clients on your devices. Verify the version number for all devices.

A common mistake is to install from the standard channel, you’ll want to ensure you install from the Plex Pass channel instead for the newest features.

Thanks. I just checked version number on Nvidia and its not the right version. I have 1.6.0.3698. Will the updated beta eventually come through the beta channel on Google Play? I understand that is the only way to update the nvidia shield with a new beta.

Use a web browser and go to the play store and force an update to your Shield TV.

I followed this instruction and it worked to update on Invidia shield. I deleted Plex app and reinstalled starting from the web on my iphone 6. Everything with Live TV is working correctly now.
