Any update on this issue? Worked last beta broke all betas before including current beta. Was getting betas every couple of days now nothing for >2 weeks!!!

7.31.0.16802 on nvidia shield still has the problem. Cannot watch live tv.

I bought in to Plex Pass a week or two ago primarily to watch live TV on my Android devices, but I am unable to do so because of these bugs. Really hope to see this fixed soon or might need a refundā€¦

Guys now the only player that works is the one on the Ipad. Both from the browser on the pc and the one on the nvidia shield donā€™t work. Cannot watch live tv. And i bought the lifetime plex pass only for this featureā€¦ It is a month now that the problem has not been fixed.

I was excited, a new version 8.0.0.17051-beta and new media server 1.19.2.2673 release could it be trueā€¦ I load and restart both and alas LIVE TV WITH NEW PLAYER IS STILL NOT WORKING - Please can we get this fixed!!! :anguished: How can you have it, New Player, working in one version then not working in subsequent versions?

Broken here as well on Android with v8 beta. Server is on Shield TV. last version that works is:7.31.0.16549

now LIVE TV is really BROKE!!! With the last update (8.0.0.17115-beta) when i try to go to settings to turn off the new player, because it is still BROKE, the app throws me out. COMMON PLEX get it together.

Put plex.direct fixed the problem. But it should be fixed at the source in my opinion. Also the video freeze randomly when watching live tv. Sometimes after a minute, sometimes after 20 minutes and it is very annoying. I think we are far from have an usable service.

I agree rzzntn the plex.direct issue needs to be addressed by Plex. I am also experiencing random freezing and sometimes a random closure of Live TV.

Pitching in to say that I have the same problem on a bunch of Android devices. Webplayer through browser on Windows en Linux does work. Any outlook for a fix?

I have the same behavior with my shield 2017 setupā€¦

For the others, to help dev can you provide client log when it occur?
