One additional note: Plex just allowed switching (back) to Gracenote as the EPG provider about 4 hours ago. To make your Plex instance switch to the Gracenote EPG you delete your DVR and then add it back again. If you are deleting and adding back your DVR then you will be caught up in this. Note that you do have to delete all of your scheduled recordings and recreate them, and it isn’t possible to set a recording if the show you want doesn’t have any currently scheduled airings.
I just went through this and set up the recordings I could, making notes of shows I’ll have to watch out for when they come back on the air. Now I’ve just got to verify that it does record!
