Everything was working perfectly for many months. I had to switch my networking so my server ended up plugged into a different eero than it used to be, and suddenly I can access Plex locally, but not remotely. The port is still forwarded and I can access it externally, but the Plex app can’t connect.
Is the problem with my Plex account settings at the docker container level?
Update: I can access my full Plex library by going to PUBLIC-IP:32400 from my phone, but still can’t access it through my Plex app. Why would I be able to get to my server remotely, but not via the app?
Same here, turn off wifi on my phone and use the public IP:32401 and it pulls up (albeit slow) and when I select a video it plays.
I can run the APP on wifi, while it’s on my network and it works. I then shut down wifi and try the app again and I get the connected to my server, I can see the content, but when I try to play anything I get:
Error
An error occurred while attempting to play this video.
Please check your connection and try again
Via the IP, when it begins to play I can see on the server Dashboard that it is going. When I go thru the APP, I get nothing on the Dashboard.
