Hello - I hope this is the right area to post this. I recently turned on 2FA and my kids deleted the authentication app while they were using my phone. I remember saving the recovery codes on my desktop but of course I cannot find it. Is there anyway to unlock disable 2FA and reapply it? Or am I out of luck?
That’s what you need the recovery codes for.
No recovery code, no disabling of 2FA.

I have a similar issue. I had to restore my phone and my authenticator got wiped out. Is there any way to disable 2FA? I have all the cred information for my plex app. How do you reset this?
You can’t, that’s why you are supposed to save the recovery codes that were given to you when you enabled it.
You can maybe contact billing since you have a Plex Pass but I don’t really know if there is anything they can do. https://www.plex.tv/contact/?option=plex-pass-billing

This is ridiculous. Cannot contact support to disable 2FA. I think I may saying bye bye to my subscription. I used to work in IT and if I’d offered support like this I would’ve been fired.
