I have tried everything linked on the page from support and I cannot get my server unlocked.
I was having trouble with True NAS so I decided to switch back to my Terramaster OS. I deleted the Plex Server off my True NAS Scale and when I installed Plex Server back on my Terramaster OS - it keeps saying I am locked out. I’ve tried going to the Plex web OS as suggested, it isn’t helping. I am stuck and I paid for the Life Time license. Really regretting that now.
What are the steps you’ve already taken?
After wiggling with your setups… did you do a clean install of re-use your old installation (e.g. restoring/migrating the old Plex Media Server‘s data directory, databases etc?
Did you complete the setup by accessing the new server locally, using the bundled web app from within the same network/subnet?
I did a clean set up - I formatted all the drive before reinstalling TNAS.
I tried following the steps that applied: https://support.plex.tv/articles/204281528-why-am-i-locked-out-of-server-settings-and-how-do-i-get-in/
I tried removing all the Authorized devices from my online Plex account and re-adding them.
I tried restarting the NAS.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Plex program on the new NAS OS.
I tried looking through the online settings for anything to unlock it.
I don’t know what to do and none of the forums have an answer.
I downloaded the Plex Server program from the Terramaster app store. I thought all I would have to do was sign back in and migrate the movies I moved to another hard drive back in since it was a clean install. There is no old server attached to my online Plex account so I don’t know what it is saying this for.
