Locked out of PMS the moment I set Secure Connections=Required

Server Version#: Latest Plex Pass

I’ve been trying to setup a new PMS instance and everytime I set Secure Connections to Required, I lose access to Server settings and I have to change the SecureConnections=0 to =1 in the Preferences.xml file away in order to regain access.

My router is pfSense and I have the following entry in my DNS Resolver:

server:
private-domain: "plex.direct"

What else could be causing this issue?

P.S. Running PMS in a docker on Unraid. I have Plex running in a docker also in Unraid also with pfSense in another site with no issues with regard to Secure Connections.

can I ask how you changed this setting I can’t get into mine Plex server because of this setting, I have another thread open about this.

What platform is your server running on?

If I may augment here?

The Preferences.xml field everyone is discussing is SecureConnections

The values for SecureConnections are:

  • 0 = Required
  • 1 = Preferred
  • 2 = Disabled

Plex is working on to resolve the issue

Yup, just saw that post. Thanks!
