Logitech Harmony Remote Commands Repeated

Server Version#: 1.16.3.1433
Player Version#: 2.38.0.998

I am running Plex Media Player Embedded on an Intel NUC6i7KYK, which is working fine, except when I try to use it with my Logitech Harmony Elite remote, the commands are doubled (e.g. every time I press the right arrow button, it skips two to the right (you can see it quickly move to one, then a second).

A google search suggested turning down command repeats in the Harmony device settings for the NUC, which defaults to 3. I’ve turned this all the way down to 0, but this didn’t seem to make any difference at all.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Paul

Maybe Harmony Remote causes 'back' to happen twice on new PMP

Possibly, although that’s for PMP on Windows, I’m running the embedded version, so I’m really not sure that the commands can be reassigned…

This is possible on every platform. You can get easily to the files if you activate the SMB share of PMP embedded. Or you use SSH to login to it.

By creating an inputmap file?

At present, the arrow keys are mapped as follows:

     "KEY_LEFT": "left",
     "KEY_RIGHT": "right",
     "KEY_UP": "up",
     "KEY_DOWN": "down",

What would I change them to?

I rather meant the 2 following suggestions in the thread. By assigning a different profile in the remote.

Got it, I’ll give it a try…

Unfortunately that doesn’t work. The Microsoft PLEX device uses Bluetooth to control PMP running on Windows (or Mac) and so isn’t applicable to an embedded install.
