EDIT: I have attached all my logs further down in the thread.
I’m really running out of patience. Since setting up Plex a few weeks ago, I hadn’t changed any configuration settings on my Mac, Xbox 360 or router that would affect the connection to PMS, yet all of the sudden I get the There was an error communicating with your Plex Media Server. Make sure it’s turned on and accessible and try again error. I’ve tried downgrading to multiple different versions, uninstalling the 360 app and clearing my system cache three times and reinstalling, and changing the secure connection setting to both “preferred” and “disabled.” No dice whatsoever. I can still log in, see my entire library, etc, but no streaming ability whatsoever.
Do Plex support folks respond with any frequency? I see no mention of 360-related fixes in the newest update either.
I’m sorry if this has been addressed and I’ve missed it, but the more recent threads addressing the same error seem to not be answered, either.

try attaching logs as that’s the only way one can get an idea of any issues on your end
what OS is running PMS?
Can you connect via browser at Plex.tv?
Sounds like it’s router or port related but the logs should help.
Thanks.
I’m on Mac OS X 10.8.5.
I can access the server via the browser, but none of my media is playing.
I’ve attached what logs I can to this post. I have a bunch of them, but the ones that end in .1, .2 and so on error out in the upload form for this forum. Aggravating.> @marks.socks04 said:
Looking at your Plex Media server it looks like your server isn’t able to punch out through your router:
These are seen throughout the log:
Aug 06, 2015 04:50:18 [0x10c87e000] WARN - NetworkServiceBrowser: Error sending out discover packet: send_to: No route to host
Aug 06, 2015 04:50:18 [0x10c87e000] WARN - NetworkServiceBrowser: Error sending out discover packet: send_to: Host is down
And then when Plex is trying to configure your ports it’s getting rejected:
