Just like before the EPG overall.
Deleted everything, re scanned and chose a new provider. All appeared well.
Now going towards the end of the week. The same issue as “to be announced”, but more widespread and now called channel name programming eg “bbc1 programming”"
I dont know when plex will actually be a replacement for a traditional recorder / allow people to cut their cords.
If the EPG worked reliably, it still falls short as a solution:
not a 14 day EPG.
cannot record all streams on the same mux/frequence at same time (other tvheadend can).
Even buying two hdhomeruns for a bit of redundnacy, if the first one is not responding it cant find out its already tuned twice, so doesnt bother the next hdhomrrun!
altough at least now you can watch what you’re recording.
It seems as if the last 3 updates hve fixed this for me, I’m now on Version 1.16.3.1402 and Even CBS gives me 14 days proramming. I didnt do anything but take th updates.
I miht try to use Plex for some tv dvr I dont care about, see how it goes but Channels has been rock solid.
now i’ve done a manual guide update (which should happen at least during the nightly maitenenace.)
I now have until sometime sunday, until channel name programming, randomly appears.
The recording schedule does appear to have a nearly full 10 days (Mon 29th today, and it has until sat 10th AM).
