- On your Mac that you want Remote Access to, open System Preferences then select Network >Wi-Fi>Advanced.
- Select TCP/IP tab and write down the IPv4 Address.
- Select Hardware tab and write down Mac Address.
- Open eero app on your phone and select Network settings from the drop down upper left of screen.
- Select Advanced Settings and then Reservations & Port Forwarding.
- Select Add a reservation and scroll down to the bottom of the screen and select Enter manually.
- Give a Nickname i.e. Plex Mac Mini or something like that.
- Enter ip Address and Mac Address that you gathered from Mac System Preferences and select Save.
- Open your Plex Media Server and select Settings.
- Select Remote Access and then Enable Remote Access.
- You should then get a message " Fully accessible outside your network".
Note: I have not been able to get this to work with my Private Internet Access VPN on. Instead I put Plex on my MacBook Pro that I donāt have VPN on and I move over any TV or Movie files from my Mac Mini that I want remote access to.
