MacOS 26 cannot play live TV

I tried that work around and it didn’t work for me. Under software encoding, I at least see a second or two of video, before it stops with an error. I installed MacOs 26.0.1 today, still not working with IOS, Roku or the Web Clients.

Just wanting to make sure that everyone saw the new permissions prompt to allow PMS network access after updating to MacOS 26.

If you missed it or aren’t sure, check your Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network and make sure PMS has the proper permissions.

Yep, already allowed it. If you need logs, just message me. I have no problem playing movies, its just Live TV that doesn’t work. Plays on the Mac Plex app, doesn’t play on Roku or Web Clients.

Having the same exact issue on my end with pixelated live TV, and the same CoreMediaErrorDomain on the iPhone app. Running the latest MacOS 26.0.1 and Plex Media Server 1.42.2.10156

Just tried Amazon Fire Stick, Live TV works on that.
