Last 3-4 days I have woken up to my server crashed (not frozen). I saved this log right after restarting it. First thing it did was refresh TV guide data …but don’t think that has anything to do with it.
I was running Beta server updates but went back to public yesterday.
The server is running 1.32.6.7468 beta: Sep 01, 2023 14:41:26.738 [13184] INFO - Plex Media Server v1.32.6.7468-07e0d4a7e - Microsoft PC x64-x64 - build: windows-x86_64 windows - GMT -07:00
Did anything change before the system became unstable?
Install the beta release, change Plex Data Folder location, etc?
Plex is configured to scan a folder in the Plex Data Folder.
Doing so will lead to stability issues.
Remove that entry from the appropriate library, scan for updates, and empty trash.
If you want those photos in Plex, move them outside of the Plex Data Folder.

What userid is running Plex Media Server?
Has it possibly been installed under one userid and run under antother?
Have you attempted to move all or some of the Plex Data Folder to another location?
Is drive V:\ local, a network drive, etc?
There is a Plex Data Folder in c:\Users\Brandon: Sep 01, 2023 14:41:29.218 [18128] DEBUG - LibraryUpdateManager will start watching C:\Users\Brandon\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Media Upload\Mobile Photos
The Plex transcoder is using a temp directory in c:\Users\User: Sep 01, 2023 07:35:21.207 [16108] DEBUG - [Butler/MusicAnalysis/JobRunner] In directory: "C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Temp\music-analysis-input-31461c16-e2df-4ea0-8db3-6d7ba76e3c22"
The Plex Database files are on drive V:\, and there are other reference to a Plex Data Folder on drive V:\ in the logs: Sep 01, 2023 14:41:31.061 [2700] INFO - SQLITE3:0x7ff67e665a40, 283, recovered 104 frames from WAL file V:\Plex Media Server\Plug-in Support\Databases\tv.plex.providers.epg.cloud-3a2be7cf-94c6-41a5-a4d3-3a4e15331806.db-wal
Have you changed any other default transcode, etc directories for Plex?
These two error messages repeat several hundred times, including immediate before Plex crashed while running intro detection. I’ve never seen Plex try to write to the root of a drive.

I went back to public release but it apparently won’t update to it till next time new one comes out?
Been on the Beta for quite awhile now without issue. Haven’t really changed anything other then adding content and more pre-roll(is there a limit? I have a lot and it’s only media I have on my server ssd V:/ for fast access)
Looking at my mobile photos …thought was was a default library with that folder assigned automatically? …when I originally set up the server years ago.
I’ve never messed with or used it. That folder doesn’t exist on this C drive and I just deleted that library.
I did move my server over to the NUC11 I am running now many months ago.
My V:/ drive is my local server SSD but the Plex program itself runs on my main NVME system drive. Only ever ran the server with this User ID.
Should my music analysis not be using my C: drive appdata folder? Never changed anything related to that(I think maybe I might have turned on sonic analysis somewhat recently) …and only issue I have had with my TV tuner is favorite channels are inaccessible for a client and I can’t flush it to redo after moving server. Otherwise seemingly no issue with the tv guide. (tv.plex.providers is for guide data?)
I also changed to NVME C: drive for transcoding when I moved my server …reason being because it’s my fastest drive.
Might there be any issue with using my system drive for transcoding? …am I better off using my dedicated server data SSD drive?
Since I removed the “Mobile Photos” library the server has not crashed!
Still running beta since it hasn’t automatically updated via public yet. Haven’t bothered to manually update since crashes have stopped …and haven’t made any other changes.
