Major Bug: Subtitles on h265 files always out of sync

Subtitles on h265 streams are always out of sync, displaying approximately 4 seconds late on my Roku players, including the recent Ultra 4800X. Plex is simply unusable for any foreign language film using the h265 codec.

However if I play the same files with Plex competitor Jellyfin - it’s perfectly in sync.

I’ve not had this problem nor do I have ROKU, but subtitle timing can be adjusted: Subtitle Offsets | Plex Support

Then the out of sync subtitle problem must be specific to Plex on Roku. Unfortunately one cannot adjust subtitle timing in the Plex app on Roku as their documentation confirms.

I have confirmed this bug also exists in the Plex app for LG WebOS. Again, the timing of the subtitles cannot be adjusted to compensate, just like on the Roku. It’s very easy to reproduce. Just play an h265 hevc video with SRT subtitles.
