Managed users and multiple Plex servers... user experience

Hi guys, long-time Plex user but newly-minted Plex Pass member (I took advantage of the sale). I have two Plex servers at home… let’s call then Server 1 and Server 2. I’m eventually going to combine them into one powerful machine once funds allow. When I access Plex via either the web interface on my laptop or the Android app, I can pick the server I want to browse from the drop-down in the upper left-hand corner. They are named “Server 1” and Server 2". Now that I’m a Plex Pass member, I created a Managed User for my GF. She had a Plex account before I was a Plex Pass member, and I simply ‘upgraded’ her to a Managed User.

That’s the background, so here’s the problem:

When she sign into Plex, whether it’s via the app or her laptop, she doesn’t have the server names in the upper left-hand corner… what’s listed is the email address of the admin (me). She can tap/click it but the drop-down shows my email address for both servers, rather than the server name. Is that a setting somewhere that I’m missing? Did I configure something incorrectly?

This may be considered a minor inconvenience, but I know what movies/shows are on what server, and not knowing which server is which means added time for media selection (and confusion). Any help is appreciated, thank you!

Which version of the web app are you using?
Because I can see the server name very clearly above the user name in the server selector.

Do you perhaps use a zoom factor in the web app? (Reset it with CTRL+0)

Or any web browser add ons which can manipulate the content of web pages (AdBlock, uBlock, Privacy this and that)?

Hi, thanks very much for the fast reply. The GF gets the same experience no matter how she accesses Plex… the Plex app downloaded from the Google Play Store (on her Chromebook), accessing the servers via Chrome (https://127.0.0.1:port) via Chrome on her Chromebook, and from the Plex app on her iPhone downloaded from the Apple App Store. I know Chrome is up-to-date and I’m 99% sure the Plex app on both of her devices are up-to-date as well. There’s no zoom nor any web plugins on her Chromebook. I can certainly post a screenshot if that will help?

Edit: Of note is that my access clearly shows the server names no matter how/where I access Plex. Just wanted to mention that.

Yes, please!

Did you sign into your account on her devices first??? Right now it’s sound like you have invited her as a friend… For managed users, the account owner, YOU, should have to sign into your account on her devices first, then she should be able to switch to her managed account that you have set up for her…

This is not a managed user. It is a full plex.tv account that got invited into the Plex Home.

Well, I’m not sure what happened but when I got home and had her sign in (I was trying to grab screenshots), everything suddenly appeared as it should… She was able to pick her user, and the server list showed up like it should. Weird! But it’s working. Thanks everyone for the replies!
