Managed Users Other Videos Not Working

Recently I completed a Plex server update, and now I’m no longer able to access Other Video libraries within my Managed User account (one for my kids). The created libraries show up but it says there is “no content” (Mobile App), or “There are no items in this folder” (computer). The Movies and TV Shows libraries still work perfectly, and all content still shows up on my parent account. Can someone please tell me what happened to the Managed Users account and why Other Videos content is missing???

All Libraries I’ve shared are showing

Content is just missing.

NOTE: I haven’t been able to confirm yet if the issue is occurring with Shared Users (out of home).

In your second screenshot, change to the Restrictions tab.
Which labels are listed under Movies?
Do any of the Other Videos have any of those labels applied to them?

No labels are listed under Movies - I only have Rating restrictions applied. There’s also no section in Restrictions for “Other Videos.”

“Other Videos” are Movies, really. The only difference is the metadata agent.

So which ratings did you specify? And does any of your Other Videos have one of those ratings applied?

Try adding the age rating None to your managed user(s).
But careful, this then whitelists all movies with no content in the ‘age rating’ field.
(None is different from NR, btw.)

That worked! However, I cannot view by Collections, only All Movies. When using Collections it says “no content” still. Do you know how to fix that?

Check the age ratings of the collections themselves.

Sorry, I misspoke. I said Collections but meant Folders. See below images. The Kids managed user account does not have an option to navigate through folders.

Thanks!

I am told this is intentional, if the user has restrictions set.
Even though the kid might not be able to see the contents of certain folders, he is able to read the folder names.
Now imagine some folder bearing the name p*rn or something along those lines.
