I created an Other Videos Library to organize content from the Winter Olympics. Each sport has its own sub-folder. While using the Admin account everything looks great in folder view (instead of movie view), but when Managed Users try to view the content, folder view says “there are no items in this folder,” and the content can only be seen in movie view where everything is lumped together. Is there a setting or restriction I’m missing somewhere? Thank you for your help.
Content in “Other Videos” libraries usually has no age certificates attached to it.
If your managed users are restricted to view only certain age ratings or sharing labels, they won’t be able to see anything in your library until you add those age ratings or sharing labels to the items in it.
Thank you for the fast reply. This was the issue, although a I am still a little confused why. It wasn’t that the managed user account couldn’t see the videos at all, they just couldn’t be seen in folder view. The managed user account was set to allow all, and exclude only a custom “Adult” label, but giving the videos a rating of G still didn’t fix it. I had to remove all restrictions.
