Matching Agent Fails Immediately

Server Version#: 1.40.1.8120
Player Version#: 1.87.2.87-87488d5a

I have a smart playlist of music that is “unmatched” so I can clean some of these more obscure cds. Anyway, prior to this latest update, the match feature at least tried to return a result. Now after choosing match, the pop down already says no matches found. These two entries immediately show in the log file:

Feb 23, 2024 08:48:29.252 [0x700006da8000] ERROR - [Req#80c/MetadataAgent/tv.plex.agents.music] Error parsing content.

Anyone experiencing with the latest beta?

TIA

I also tried to add a new movie and it would not play. I reverted back to 7998 and everything has begun working properly again.

Just updated to 1.40.1.8173 and music matching still immediately fails with this window.

Reverting back to 7998 resolves the issue. Not sure what I can do to assist with its resolution.

Server logs would be required.

When running version 8120 and now 8173, when I choose match or fix match for an album, there are the only two entries placed in the Plex Media Server log file.

Plus there is NO activity in the Plex Media Scanner Matcher log file.

When running 7998, when I choose match or fix match, there is no relevant data in the Plex Media Server log file but there is this data in the Plex Media Scanner Matcher log file:

Version 7998 does return useful matches for the musical album being matched, so something after 7998 seems to be broken. I don’t think my agents config is incorrect as it doesn’t change between 7998 and 8120 and beyond.
