Currently running PMS 1.1.4.2757 , FreeNAS Plugin specifically.
When new media is added, no matter the media that is unmatched, when I attempt to match it I get this , blank and doesnt display any information. This also happens if I go to match a TV show or movie that is currently matched, I see a blank line with the ribbon, selecting the blank line clears out the name of the show and refreshes as if it found something.
This is currently the issue for 2 TV shows, but shows exist in TheTVDB , Sonarr has named the files accordingly + is in the appropriately named folders as well.
Anyone have any input?
Here is 1 example of my folder structure: Image here ;
2nd example of my folder structure found here: Image here ;
3rd example of the file naming convention Sonarr is using: Image here
Appreciate the swift reply, I went ahead and used filebot to rename it accordingly and matching yours above, however it still fails to match and still gives me that blank name to match with and the ribbon.
I only experienced this after updating to the latest from the original 1.0(?) release of Plex, since Plex no longer has an archive, is there anywhere I can download a older version of to roll back?
Plex needs a working local loopback address in the Jail where Plex runs.
Some of the default Plex ‘plugin’ and pre-made Plex ‘configuration’ in FreeNAS currently don’t make one available.
Some functions can work around this by using the local private IP, but not all.
And even then you have to add the local private IP of the Plex Jail into
Settings - Server - Network - ‘Show Advanced’ - “List of IP addresses and networks that are allowed without auth”
I went ahead and added the IPv4 Alias and rebooted the jail , then added the IP’s allowed without auth and rebooted and still get the same blank match.
I’ve been having this problem for a while now as well. I’m running Plex on Windows, but your issues match mine exactly. It doesn’t seem to want to match unless the lookup matches EXACTLY. For example, I can’t ever seem to match Mr. Robot anymore. It is searching for “Mr Robot” and fails, but when I manually match to “Mr. Robot” (notice the extra period), it will then match. I don’t know where it is pulling the show name to match, because my folder structure and files are named 100% correctly (i.e. \Mr. Robot\Season 02\Mr. Robot.S02.E12.mkv) and this has not been a problem until shortly after the 1.0 release. There are a handful of other shows this is happening with as well. All my searches say the problem is fixed in the ‘latest release’ which I think they referred to a version previous to the version I am currently on (1.1.4.2757), so it’s either a separate issue, or it’s not really fixed.
I would love to go back to a point in which I didn’t have to manually match TV Shows!
