Roku Plex App Cannot Connect to Media Server. Both app and server are updated to latest versions. No VPN. Not sure what to do next to troubleshoot
I am having the same problem. All of a sudden I can no longer connect to my Plex Media Server from my Plex app running on a Roku device. I do have a VPN, but it has been in use for years with no issue. Just in case, however, I disconnected the VPN, but the issue still persists. I also double checked that my Roku device and Media Server are connected to the same network, but it does not help. I also made sure that the “Allow Insecure Connections” was set to Always on the Plex App.
