Plex Media Server did not work?

My Synology NAS is DS218+ and I have installed X86 64-Bit version.
When I click the server. I can’t see the server name and it did remind me to install the media server.
NAS is installed the latest firmware. DSM6.2.3-25423

Are you accessing it directly by the Synology IP address or are you using:

  1. App.plex.tv
    -or-
  2. Synology’s DDNS

I’m running in NAS IP. I clicked the link from NAS.

It should have brought you up to the “Got It” and “Sign in” windows as it found the Server and began initial setup/

If that didn’t happen, we can easily address it this way:

  1. Upper right corner of your Plex/Web app, SIGN OUT of your account.
  2. Stop Plex and uninstall the package
  3. Control Panel - Shared Folders - DELETE the Plex share
  4. Reinstall Plex in Package Center
  5. (It will recreate the Plex share and make it ready for setup)
  6. Now open the link again and follow through the prompts.
