Media server running but not able to connect to

I am not sure when the issue started (haven’t tried playing on Plex all day), but even though my Plex server is running, none of my apps can see it as available, and opening Plex Server itself yields the “This site can’t be reached … The webpage at http://127.0.0.1:32400/web might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address”. I have been running this server for months now, any idea on what the issue may be? Was definitely running fine last evening.

I have even uninstalled and reinstalled Plex Media server and the issue is persisting.

Try using an incognito/private browser window pointed at 127.0.0.1, localhost, or the server IP address.

I’m running plex in a docker and having the same issue after upgrading to 1.25.0.5246-cb2507e4d. It’s just increasing in memory usage and unable to connect. Will revert back to previous version.

Update: I had left it trying to start for quite sometime and it seems to have started. It took a good 10-15 minutes.

I had the same happen - after a while (I didn’t really time it), the server was up and running again. However, just now - the same occurred all over. The server is running, but none of my apps on other devices nor the web interface have access.

Apps on other devices say the server is offline, and the browser again states the website is not accessible. I tried re-starting the server and will give it a bit … but the random outages are getting frustrating

I’m not really locked out of the settings though when this occurs, the whole server appears to be offline even though it’s running. I tried all those options, no luck though.

I just had it happen all over again, restarted the server and waiting to see if it will come online …
