Metadata completely broken and I don't know what to do!

Everytime I try refreshing metadata, nothing happens. Everytime I try doing fix match, it says “No Matches Found”.

I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled PMS, rolled back on updates, restarted the PC, changed my internet from IPv6, deleted cashes, rescaned libraries, almost everything I’ve read on here and for the love of me, I have no idea what to do. It was working perfectly for a year and a half and suddenly, this happened.

I’m so incredibly frustrated and want to bang my head against the wall…

Server Version#:1.16.3.1402
Player Version#: 3.104.2

check the plex media scanner.log

you can also check the metadata agent logs

Plex Web > settings > troubleshooting > download logs

even though you indicate it worked before, double check @ https://support.plex.tv/articles/?s=naming&search=support_articles to make sure your media is named correctly.

Having the same issue here; also using the same server and player version; by way of FreeNAS PlexPass Plugin.

Just recently reinstalled Plex after moving and rebuilding my NAS, Plex won’t pull any metadata or cover art for anything. I’ve tried rearranging agents, switching to IMDB, checking and verifying language was correct, etc w/o any luck.

Nothing is working still. I’m so confused.

Still nothing and wish someone would help

Speaking strictly about music, what seemed to work for me was to unmatch the artist, and then match again as if the database record for the artist no longer matched what was found using the metadata agent. YMMV.

Its been over 2 months and I’m still very lost.

Did you check the logs as suggested above?

I’m confused on how to do that. If someone can help me with how to go about that, I would be greatly appreciated.
