There are a few shows that don’t seem to properly show episode names and descriptions. Can you help share with your metadata team for fixing?
The metadata are there in the Plex metadata store:

Also, are your files perhaps in mp4 format?
Mmh… This is really weird. I have 100 other shows and they all show well. No clue what I am doing wrong with these two shows. They don’t show the information though that I can find from the link you shared.
When clicking your link, it says that this show isn’t on my server. Maybe that provides some form of hint for troubleshooting?
It is matched, but seems to be matched against tmdb and not tvdb? But even if tmdb, it should show episode titles, which it doesn’t.
To answer your questions: No, they are MKV and not MP4. And “prefer local metadata” is disabled.
Plex Series is selected as agent.
Maybe some language issue? I have enabled “use original titles”.
Which language is selected for your library?
The selector is on the first tab when editing the library.
It is matched with Plex, which combines metadata from various sources, among them TMDB and TVDB.
If there are differences in the order of the episodes between TMDB and TVDB, edit the show, then select the appropriate Episode Ordering on the Advanced tab.
Library language is English, but the metadata language for both shows is manually set to German.
There are no German metadata for Die Hart. Neither on TMDB nor on TVDB.
Set them to English and Refresh Metadata of the whole show.

Let me focus on All or Nothing first. Somehow, I cannot receive the same info as you do. Any thought what I can do to troubleshoot?
It matches. It also gives me the show description below. But all episodes are “Episode 1” rather than title and no description.

Yes, VPN, but exit node is in the US. And no issue with any of the other 100+ shows.
Assuming you refer from the device I have Plex server on (not the one I am using to write on this forum)

Try without the VPN for while.
I tried for a while without VPN and also with different VPN (provider & country). I also removed the series from Plex and re-added it. Still, it matches the series, but not the episode title and description. Any more ideas what’s wrong?
“Die Hart” series is now working. “All or Nothing” still not.
Please fetch and post the Plex media info XML of one of the episodes.

For some reason, the episode and the season are not matched. Thus they don’t get any metadata.
Why that is, I don’t know. But it should be cleared with a correctly performed Plex Dance.

Enclosing things that could confuse the matching into square brackets is good. However, you should put them all into the first pair of square brackets.
So, rather like this:

Unfortunately, still not working after several Plex Dances. Also changed the file name and even completely removed the […]. Unfortunately all without any success. Somehow, this show isn’t being picked up. Any other idea?
There is something wrong with the show that seems unrelated to my setup.
I tried on a different Unraid server. With different downloaded files. No VPN whatsoever and server location is Germany. But the same “All or Nothing” show. Unfortunately, also the same issue and the episode names don’t show up.
All other shows are working.
