MetaData & library issue

For Deep Insanity - The Lost Child, remove the dash in the folder and episode names.

There is no dash in the show name as displayed on TheTVDB.com. Plex uses a dash as a separator character. Adding one where it is not expected can lead to issues with recognition, downloading correct metadata, etc.

In general, if a show name has a special character that is not permitted as part of a file name, such as a colon, simply leave it out instead of substituting another character, such as a dash.

Instead of:
F:\anime\Deep Insanity - the Lost child\Deep Insanity - The Lost Child - s01e01.mkv
Use:
F:\anime\Deep Insanity The Lost Child\Deep Insanity The Lost Child - s01e01.mkv

Rename the show folder and all episodes. Then Plex Dance the entire show.

If you still have issues with recognition, you can add the show ID from TheTVDB or TheMovieDatabase to the show folder name. Plex will use that to properly match the show. See Naming and Organizing Your TV Show Files for details.

Example:
F:\anime\Deep Insanity The Lost Child {tvdb-407682}\Deep Insanity The Lost Child - s01e01.mkv

FYI, take a look at Microsoft PowerToys. The Power Rename tool makes it very easy to perform simple file renaming on an entire folder of files.
