"Metadata Lock" not saved when changing poster

This is the “Metadata Lock”, it is used to lock the manually edited metadata to prevent overwrite when users perform “Refresh All Metadata”

However, in the editing panel, if you also change the poster or banner for the same item, the “Lock” state will lose after saving. When you return to the editing panel, the “Locked” items are “Unlocked” again, causing potential data loss.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open a movie / TV show to edit its title and description.
  2. Lock the edited title and description (but usually it is locked automatically once I modified the text box).
  3. Go to the Poster panel and change my preferred poster.
  4. Save. (Optional: Go back to General panel to check if the lock is still there, and they are)
  5. Open the edit screen again, the locks are magically disappeared.

Expected behaviour:
If you lock it, it remained locked. Should not be unlocked under all circumstances (unless the user intended to do so)

Thanks for the excellent report!

I can repro this behaviour from your steps and this is definitely not the desired behaviour and I’m filing an issue and will take a look at this.
