Starting today, it worked yesterday, new content is not being matched with metadata. When manually searching, it reply’s with “No matches found.” when there definitely should be a match.
Malcolm X 1992{edition-Turner Classic Movies}
Inherit the Wind 1960{edition-Turner Classic Movies}
Arthur 1981{edition-Turner Classic Movies}
The above 3 titles are examples of metadata not found when it should have found something.
Auto match just closes window and does nothing else.
I also saw a “no user agent” error message but it disappeared before I could get a good look at it.
Is Plex working today?
Nothing has changed on this end to cause the problem.+
According to https://status.plex.tv there’s been no issues.
Can you confirm the Syno has access to the internet and can access the domain plex.tv?
side note: you should generally get better match results if you place the release year in brackets (especially if the movie title itself has numbers in it). though that’s unrelated to the issue at hand.
I saw that status and both Plex and TMDB seem to be up.
I can get to plex.tv no problem, however it is not populating my profile icon. Don’t know if that is related or not.
The server is a Synology. I can log in directly but there doesn’t appear to be an internet connection test app in DSM so I don’t know if it is getting to the greater internet.
