No Metadata or Matching for Movies

Server Version#: 1.19.5.2916
I am unable to match any movies therefore no metadata is displayed. TV shows appear to be ok.
I have attempted the following to try and fix it but issue persists:

  • Turned off IPv6 on router, Plex and NAS
  • Completely reset Synology NAS DSM
  • Reinstalled Plex from scratch (including removing the previous volume on the NAS)
  • Installed different versions of Plex including the current new metadata scanner.
  • Manual matching doesn’t work with any agent.
  • Rearranged agent order in preferences
  • Modem is Huawei 4G with Three UK SIM

This is driving me crazy so any help will be appreciated.

I can see numerous errors like so in the logs:

ERROR (networking:196) - Error opening URL 'http://127.0.0.1:32400/:/plugins/com.plexapp.agents.thetvdb'

I have gotten further with my investigation, this only happens on Three UK. The same issue doesn’t happen with a Vodafone, anyone else seen this? Using a VPN helps but is still not consistent.

I just moved and switched to Xfinity, and I was wondering if that was an issue. I remember I managed to get metadata a few days ago, but nothing since then.

I would guess that is it!
Are you able to connect to the internet in a different manner? For instance tether your phone and see if it works?
