same here, new episodes are not getting downloaded.
Same problem here. TV shows not getting any metadata. Have followed many of the steps done by the OP to no avail. Any help available?
Same Issue on Windows 10 with NO Nas. Just an external HD. It seems to randomly update the meta data for some reason. I fought with file names etcā¦nothing helps. Just a lucky REFRESH or Random.
This seems like the right place to put my post. Something similar just happened to me. I have been using Plex for a couple of years and am very familiar with how it works. Just today, i logged in and noticed tv show have randomly migrated to my movies library, not all just a few. The problem is I CAN NOT FIX IT. None of the tried and true organization methods are rectifying the problem. The same thing is happening with videos I have produced personally, or compiled. My Plex drive has a media folder with 3 sub folders, Movies, TV Shows and Music Videos. Plex lives in the root of the drive along side the media folderā¦ Double checked my media tagging hierarchy and everything looks good. I have no Idea how or why this happened and have been trying to get it fixed all day. Any ideas? Any addition info needed to help troubleshoot? I am on Windows 10 64 running Plex from dedicated internal 8TB WD Red NAS HDD. The drive is healthy and folder structure seems fine (its always worked for me). Has this happened to anyone else? Iām lost, can someone help? Thanks.

My Synology install just started doing this. Upgraded today to PlexMediaServer-1.18.2.2041-3d469cb32-x86_64, and it is still broken. Adding, removing shows, emptying trash, forcing a rescan, or update metadata isnāt working. I now have 4 shows that are doing this and as I add new content more of it is doing the same thing. Quite frustrating.

Same issue here, only on TV Shows, nothing is being downloaded. I can only see the episodes thumbnails. Glad itās being looked at.
Iām running Plex Server 1.18.2.2041 on Ubuntu 18.10.
Only happens for TV Shows, everything else is working fine.
Wow, that was quickā¦ just to confirm, latest update ( 1.18.2.2058) fixed the issue and after a forced metadata refresh, it all works! Massive thumbs up!

Same to me. Even with manual fix-match, the metadata is not there for TV shows.
