So for a couple weeks now I have been having an issue where anything new that has been added since that point will refuse to download any metadata.
Some of the movies are movies that were already in my library but were just replaced with a better quality version. Once replaced Plex removed the metadata and would not replace it and now shows the movie under recently added.
I am running the server through a docker on unRaid. I have already attempted to create a new docker with a fresh Plex install and it still has the problem when it reaches these new items.
I have tried making a new library and have it add the same folder and it will download the metadata for everything fine till it hits one of the new items. I have also removed the cache more than once already.
Strange thing is it still somehow downloads the directors and writers of the movies. If i choose Fix match, it will find and let me choose the match. It will also let me edit the poster and it is able to show the me the available posters to choose from so it knows which movie it is.
