Metadata not picking up for TV shows since rebuild

Server Version: Version 1.16.0.1226

had my plex database corrupted last week and decided to move over to unraid from a previous windows install, all exact same hardware. Library’s are stored on NAS’s and prior to the move to unraid, no issues on metadata or matching shows.

I started the rebuild on Friday night/Saturday and after the setup i noticed only about a 1/4 to 1/3 of my TV shows actually had any metadata content. sometimes if i manually do a “refresh metadata” it will actually do it, somtimes it starts then stops straight away. some shows have it greyed out.

Certain shows seem to be matched correctly and others when trying to manually fix the match takes 30-60 seconds to load up the match selection then seems to do nothing if i select a entry.

help!

I’m in a similar boat but none of mine are getting matched or any metadata or show artwork.

Apologies for being a little thick…
What boat is that for you?

  • is your PMS’s database corrupted?
  • have you moved your PMS to unraid?
  • just the metadata not showing up?

(again… apologies… I just want to be clear on what problem we’ve got to solve  )

I have my media data stored on a XigmaNAS (NAS4Free). Decided to make a new jail and start a fresh load of plexmediaserver on FreeBSD jail. New build doesn’t fetch metadata or artwork.
Old one did. But the old one was having issues where it couldn’t access server.
O/S is 11.2-RELEASE-p10.
plexmediaserver Version 1.16.1.1291

Yeah I have the same issue. PLEX hasn’t had any issues finding metadata for my media for the last 4-5 years. But after redoing it. Cant find or even manually search for matches. Just comes up blank. Is this some kind of DNS or IP Address thing of my Plex Jail or FreeNas not being able to download the metadata?

I wish I knew. Hey @tom80H any additional info? Someone mentioned in another post the need to enable virtual network stack? didn’t need that with my old jail.
Any advice ???

This thread may be applicable. TVDB attempted to update their systems and it went horribly wrong.

They have rolled the update back to resolve this but there are still quite a few issues.
