Metadata Refresh Every time a movie is clicked

I have posted this before and never received an answer. Driving me nuts.

Every time I choose a movie Plex does a Metadata Refresh on it. Sometimes this takes FOREVER. Sometimes it doesn’t even complete. I can go to a movie and then 10 minutes later go back to that movie and when I choose it, it will refresh the Metadata again.

I want to know why even when Metadata is already there does it do a new scan when I choose the movie (Doesn’t do this on my TV shows) And is there a way to turn this off so it only updates metadata at the scheduled times.

I don’t want every movie I choose when clicking around in plex to then do a metadata refresh and hold me up.

Can you please reproduce the issue and then grab the server logs (Settings → Troubleshooting → Download Logs) and post them here.

Still no luck? Driving me crazy and I don’t have this issue with Emby and Jellyfin. :frowning:
