Metadata was working now it's not

I have been doing research on this problem but I have yet to really find a good answer. So everything was working fine and metadata was downloading fine… now every movie I add no longer gets the metadata. What should I do?

Well for starters I have all kinds of devices connected to my network… A few laptops, a ipad a few kindles and fires, xbox, ps3 etc. Regardless metadata was working fine with all of this connected. I am a little confused how that part matters.

I also have plex running on a desktop machine (only thing on the computer for the PMS) and the machine runs windows 10.

I wasn’t saying I was not going to try what you said I was just curious. Hopefully I get some better answers for you today.

Ok so here is an interesting fact…

If I run the PMS on my NAS all metadata works fine.

If I shut down this server and start the server running on the windows machine I then have the metadata issues. So what steps should I take to correct the problems on the windows machine as I have an older desktop that I am using as my “PMS” and is the only program running on the machine. I am then linking my cloud NAS into the windows machine to pull movie files. So any thoughts on how to correct it? Like I said it all was working fine then just all of a sudden went bonkers and like I said everything works great if running the PMS directly on the NAS.

Ok I have attached my logs. What I am getting is poster and backgrounds seem to be good but I am not getting the cast and info about the movie. Let me know what I should and again I appreciate your help.

Alright, you are the best… it’s looking like this is working… I am refreshing my library’s now to pull the new metadata.

yup this is working great.

So why did this problem randomly start happening?

Gotcha so if that happens again just delete that folder and refresh all data correct?
