Not getting metadata when adding new Movies and TV

Server Version#:1.41.8.9834
Player Version#:
<If providing server logs please do NOT turn on verbose logging, only debug logging should be enabled>

  1. Check if the new items are matched and just fail to download metadata (check if there’s an option to Fix Match from a movie’s/show’s context menu)
  2. Review your network settings and test the metadata refresh while using a DNS server like Google’s 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4, or CloudFlare’s 1.1.1.1

Thanks for the reply.I had tried using Match as there was no Fix Match for Movies and Scan Library Files for TV and although it was picking up the Movie/TV Shows it wouldn’t display the posters. I have two servers one on a MyCloudEx2 NAS and the other on my Windows 11 laptop, the NAS Server was fine but I had the issue on the Windows server. On the Win server refresh Metadata was greyed out and there was no “Fix Match” only “Match” for movies so using match for Movies and Scan Library Files for TV Shows wouldn’t fix the problem. I checked the library settings for both servers and made each identical, so I was pulling my hair out at this stage. I was already using Google’s DNS Servers so that wasn’t the issue. I was thinking that I had a database issue and was dreading trying to repair that so in the end I found an older PMS version (1.41.7.9799) and installed that over the top was able to fix my issues by using Match for the offending Movie files and a Scan of my Library files for TV and I had metadata again, phew!
