Migration from DSM 6.x to 7.0 for plex goes wrong

Hi, I upgraded my Synology DS918+ with the newer DSM 7 and go problem with my plex installation. When I runned it the first time, I just uninstalled it and re-installed it using your special package from website. The problem is that he never asked me to do the migration. After this inside the plex app, I see my old “nas1” device offline and there is no more libraries. Its like the configuration has gone. If I check inside the file share I ahve two folders, one “Plex” and one “Plex Media Server”. After re-reading some guide, i added the full control for the system user PlexMediaServer to both files, and re-install the plex app, but it is still offline. My question is, how can I recover it please ? The migration has been finish now, so the plex folder is empty ,only a migration.log is inside. I still get the old “nas1” on the plex interface that is not deleted, and it seems that my library is ok now. see the screen

A few questions:

  1. Did you uninstall DSM 6 before upgrading to DSM 7 ?

  2. If you did not uninstall, did you click “Repair” after upgrading ?

  3. Did you , at any time, install Plex from Package Center ?

    Can I see it ?

What I,have done is, rename the Plex in Plex-temp, uninstall it with delete ( version 7). then removed the folder PlexMediaServer, renamed the plex-temp im plex and réinstall, using normal installation option.
It take lot of time installing, creating the migration.log and at some times it failed but continue to be in ‘installing’ state. A while after the plex was reinstallef and Plex folder contains only the migration.log, thats it

That sounds like a normal migration.

Does your Migration.log look like this?
