How are you getting Sky Sports F1 on Plex? Would you share your setup?
Not sure what happened but this morning everything on the guide is back to normal. I don’t know if they changed anything with the EPG data yesterday but since the refresh last night all of my guide data is back.
i think they just removed the check if program is in HD setting so it shows all content on HD channels. you’ll find that SD channels are showing up under the HD Only filter too
I’ve just installed the latest update (v1.22.2.4276) and im refreshing my guide. I’ll let you all know if it has worked
Nope, still no change.
239 channels, 123 channels showing in HD Only despite the fact there are only about 60 odd HD channels in my lineup.
I guess it’s just a case of waiting for the next update…
Picked this on your EPG feedback form - is it still an issue ?
Is the lineup name "Local Broadcast Listings (171 channels) ?
There was a Plex web change in 4.54.5 - see Plex Web - #350 by chrishoage that altered how the filter is applied
Could you tell me if using the hosted plex web ap through https://app.plex.tv/desktop has the problem
And could you give me specific examples of channels that are not showing up in the filtered view (channel number and name)
Thanks
the update in 4.54.5 that you are referring to didnt fix the issue. What you now get is the hd channels listed (with programme content) plus the SD channels listed with programme content. I think the only things it doesnt show when you view the HD Only filter is the radio channels. The problem is still there as no programmes are being flagged as HD so if you have the recordings set to HD Required then the recording fails, set it to prefer HD then it will record the content from the HD channel. Plex is clearly not aware about the programming being in HD on the HD channels.
Interestingly, if i switch between All Channels and HD Only filter before it shows the filtered guide i can see the channel count monetarily flick from 239 (All) to 65 (HD) to 125 (HD Only filter).
IT never actually shows only the 65 HD channels though. This would be the correct amount of true HD channels with HD content for my guide. 125 channels seems to be a strange mix of the HD channels and a large amount of the SD channels too but I cannot work out why
We had a bug in Plex Web like this before. I will refer it back to the Plex Web team
Could you also get them to confirm that the actual programme listings are being reported as being in HD on HD channels? Users are unable to record if they set HD Required on a recording as plex is unable to find any HD content despite the HD channels carrying HD content.
Seems like most of the issue has resolved. the only change I made was an update to DSM and the channel guide was probably updated. There is only one channel 6.1 that still shows that issue. See attached. My web version is 4.53.0
Further to my earlier post - this is now with the Plex Web team - a similar issue was fixed before. If after you get the HD Only filter display HD channels + SD channels - if you now hit the F5 button to refresh the browser screen, it will give the HD Only list
The HD Only filter is now working on channel attribute - apart from the suspected Plex Web bug I mentioned where some cached SD channels get added to the view
Recordings are based on airing video resolution - there was a change that forced the HD resolution for airings on HD channels. I need to actually see specific examples of it going wrong to investigate
Country / Zip Code / Lineup Guide name / channel number / channel name / airing date and time and program name - if nothing obvious from this information, then would need server debug logs covering the time of the start of scheduled recording
Could somone please fix the Finnish guide data? Basically all of the channels are saying that there’s no data.
Also, there’s the thing that the DVR setup channel to guide channel matcher does not find basically ANY of the channels right. Worked well before the update to the new provider. This is unacceptable.

P.S How am I supposed to know which channel to pick for guide data for SUB? There are also MANY duplicates and SKY news etc channels are not supposed to be in the listing in Finland Guide.
Please use the hosted app on https://app.plex.tv/desktop or update to the version of PMS that was released to beta today ( 1.22.2.4282) which has the updated web app
Plex Media Server - #419 by emilybersin and after selecting “HD Only” channels, refresh the browser using F5 and it should be correct (as mentioned here Missing guide data - #73 by sa2000)
If there is still an issue with 6.1 please let me know
We were away on vacation for the last 10 days or so. This evening I had on a notice that there was a new version of DSM available to download and install. I did that and it does appear that that my guide is working when selecting “HD Channels Only”.
Plex Media Server: 1.22.1.4228
Plex Media Server Filename: PlexMediaServer-1.22.1.4228-724c56e62-x86_64_DSM6.spk
Synology NAS: DS218+ w/ DSM 6.2.4-25556
HDHomeRun CONNECT QUATRO
I can’t say that it makes a lot of sense, but my guide is now working.
I’ll post if the problem comes back.
Picture below for confirmation.
still not working on my server with latest update.
strangely it was working briefly before i did the upgrade but now its showing 124 channels under hd when there is only supposed to be 64. Again, it does briefly flash up with 65 in the little box but then it changes to 124 when it loads the actual channel listings.
Pressing F5 or the refresh button will then load the correct HD channel listing but this means you have to select the user again and enter pin which is a pain in the ass workaround. works fine on the Plex 64 bit app on windows though so seems to be tied just to the web version.
This Suomi lineup appears to be a general country lineup and I see that it is alpha sorted on channel name - which means channel numbers may change
What post code are you ?
Is it OTA or Cable ?
and if cable, who is the cable provider?
I am looking into Finland lineups at the moment
Postal code is: 20540
It’s cable, and provider is Telia.
