Missing TV Metadata

I’m trying to move from one server running Centos 6 and Plex 1.14.1.5488 to one running Centos 7 and Plex 1.18.2.2058. I tried moving the library over from the old to the new server, but would get an error on the libraries, even though they were in the exact same file structure. Instead I just re-scanned the libraries and let the metatdata rebuild, but on the new server there are several TV series which had data on the old server which do not have data on the new. If there a way to just get the metadata for those series out of the database? Has the TVDB bug been eradicated or is it still having problems?

TheTVDb.com have recently updated their API… that also broke some of the stuff used by Plex.
You could try updating the server to 1.18.3 or give it a shot refreshing the metadata for the impacted shows.
That worked for me…

To add to Tom,

Metadata is stored in the files Plex Media Server/Metadata tree.
It is too large to store in the physical DB.
