Like the title says, I have a file that is showing up when I put it in the movies directory but not in tv shows. It also shows in other videos(if that helps).
What could the reason be? It is a tv show and I will have multiple episodes and I don’t want each episode as a movie.
tv shows need to follow a specific organisational structure, don’t follow it and they won’t show up

This. Follow the article. Plex scans for and looks for files a VERY different way when it comes to TV Shows. They need numbers in the file names that correspond to Season and Episode numbers. Anything else will be ignored.
