I just installed most recent version of Plex Server and it blew out Live TV & DVR settings. If I do a search for Silicon Dust Quatro Pro, it no longer shows up. When I enter IP address, it will find the Quatro Pro but then when clicking on connect I get the response “In use with existing DVR” ’
Is there a way to uninstall most recent update?
I have used HDHomeRun to connect and watch live events, so I know that the Quatro Pro is working. I close out and attempt to use Plex and it can’t find it. Perhaps it is still installed in the Plex server but not showing up so that is the reason I get the “in use” notification?
It was working fine before updating Plex server software.
See if there is more than one instance of Plex Media Server running. This can happen for users with multiple Windows Accounts on the PC
Otherwise - run with debug logging enabled and restart windows and then see if Plex Media Server can find the DVR and if not, get the logs and screenshots of windows task manager showing all plex processes (name sort detail view) and screenshot of the DVR Settings page
Also view of any HD Homerun apps running in task manager
I got it to work by finding and deleting: tv.plex.providers.epg.cloud**** and files ending in db, shm, wal. There were 2 sets of these files located in: users>***>AppData>local>Plex Media Server>Plug-in Support>databases.
Not sure why it worked – but I guess it forced Plex to find the HDHomerun Quatro and load and update the channel listing. Not sure why there wouldn’t have been a different error message indicating what needed to be done. But as soon as deleting the tv.plex.proviers*** it found the tuner.
